LADA

LADA stands for Loan and Advances Data Analytics. It is a ML/AI based platform which helps in prediction of risk categories though risk scoring of applicants or transactions.


  1. 1. LADA can be used in loan souring for assessing riskiness of prospective borrowers of a bank. Subsequently the bank can decide to grant or not the requested loan.

  2. 2. It can be used in monitoring repayment behaviour of existing borrowers through risk categorization in terms of the likeliness that the borrower misses a payment. This allows the banks to monitor its portfolio and adjust its risks.

  3. 3. The platform can be used to understand what are driving forces behind default/stress for a particular borrower. The banks can utilize this knowledge for its portfolio and risk assessment. LADA platform hosts advanced default prediction models which leverage novel Game Theory concepts and advanced statistical methods. The models are configured in the platform with flexible, automated, robust, and secured software code.

  1. I)  In game theory approach, lending is seen as a two-party game and the selection of the variables to be used in the models is derived from the trade-off of cost of default versus benefit of default. Various models are configured in LADA software which caters to specific borrower segments as the perception of cost of default and benefit of default is different across segments.

  2. II) Advanced parametric and non-parametric statistical techniques are leveraged to segment customers in various risk categories. Consistently have been able to achieve more than 85% AUM in NPA prediction for all client implementations.

  3. III) The platform is built on a software that can be easily customized, and new models can be quickly configured in the same. The software has cleared VAPT security requirements in client implementations. It is available in Web-based as well as API based versions. The efficient architecture provides ability to process huge volume of data in less time and can be easily integration with bank internal systems (e.g. LOS)
